A little bit about us

In September 2007 Jenny Marcus had yet another bright idea, and opened a shop in Norwood, Johannesburg. Situated on the well-known Grant Ave, The Lamp Post now occupies two properties, offers a diversity of goods and services for sale or hire, and has already featured in both ‘Woman and Home’ and “Oprah’ magazines. Because of its core focus on the value of individuals, it is a place where you will find more than that which you were looking for!

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

How we help the community

Supports NGO's

We buy much of our stock from various charity sources such as Hospice S.A, Bus factory and various craft projects.

Community Forum

Our community is very important to us, and that is why we see ourselves as a forum for community dialogue.

Community Service

We are proud to provid the platform that allows us to serve as a drop-off point for stew for the St Luke’s stew kitchen.

OUR STAFF

Meet the people that make us great!
